Business Administrator/Board Secretary

Farmingdale School District, a pre K-8 district with approximately 170 students, located in Monmouth County is accepting applications for the position of a full-time School Business Administrator/Board Secretary. Responsibilities include planning, developing and managing the district budget, food service, buildings and grounds, insurance and supervision of maintenance/custodial staff.

Starting date May 1, 2020

Qualifications:
  • Valid New Jersey School Business Administrator Certificate or Certificate of Eligibility.
  • Understanding of the principles and practices of financial accounting and reporting procedures consistent with statute and code requirements.
  • Knowledge of accepted business practices in school districts related to budget preparation and administration, risk management, purchasing, transportation, food services, school plant operations and facility planning.
  • Demonstrated organizational, communication and interpersonal skills.
